If you're expecting or have just welcomed your baby anywhere between Parramatta, Rydalmere, Dundas, Ermington, Northmead or Westmead, I'd love to be the one capturing those first precious days. As a Sydney newborn photographer based nearby, I come straight to your door, so there's no need to pack a hospital-fresh baby into the car for a studio visit.
Why an in-home session works so well here
This pocket of Sydney, hugging the Parramatta River and spreading out toward Westmead and Northmead, is full of growing young families, and I love that. An in-home session means your baby stays in their own space, in their own light, surrounded by the nursery you've spent months preparing. No studio backdrop will ever feel as personal as your own home.
What a session with me looks like
I bring everything needed on the day: wraps, soft blankets, neutral outfits and a newborn beanbag for those gorgeous individual portraits. Sessions run around an hour to an hour and a half, with plenty of time built in for feeding, settling and outfit changes. Whether you're in an apartment near Parramatta's CBD or a family home tucked into the quieter streets of Ermington or Dundas, I'll work with the light and space you already have.
Booking your session
I recommend booking during pregnancy, ideally before 32 weeks, so your spot is secured no matter when bub decides to arrive. From there we simply stay in touch and lock in the exact date once they're here, usually within the first couple of weeks.
